Testnet is a network just like Mainnet except tokens have no real-world value and the network is used for testing purposes. Instructions for connecting to the BSC Testnet and ETH Testnet can be found in this manual page. If the wallet you use is not listed please do some research on how to connect to Testnet yourself.
Click your profile icon, then find "Settings" and press it
Find "Advanced" and press it
Scroll until you find "Show test networks" and switch it on
(For BSC) In the network selector, find Binance Test Network and switch to it
(For ETH) In the network selector, find Sepolia Test Network and switch to it
If the testnet option is missing in step 4, there are instructions below to add it.
If you don't see an option to connect with testnet, ensure "Show test networks" is switched on in Metamask.
If the testnet options are still missing, networks can be manually added:
Network Name: Binance Testnet New RPC URL: https://data-seed-prebsc-1-s1.binance.org:8545/ ChainID: 97 Symbol: BNB Block Explorer URL: https://testnet.bscscan.com
The BSC Testnet provides several public nodes that Metamask (or your wallet) can use. Sometimes these nodes go down for maintenance (such as the one listed above). You can use this site to find which nodes are the healthiest right now and you can switch between them.
Once Testnet is added, repeat step 4 mentioned previously.
Network Name: Sepolia New RPC URL: https://rpc2.sepolia.org ChainID: 11155111 Symbol: SepoliaETH Block Explorer URL: https://testnet.bscscan.com
You can use this site to find which nodes are the healthiest right now and you can switch between them. Make sure to check 'Include testnets' and search for the desired network. The networks can be added to Metamask directly using this website.
Unfortunately, Trustwallet does not support connecting to Testnet nodes. :( Use another wallet, such as Metamask.
Please see their official page on how to connect to Testnet nodes.
Please do some research to find any official support page for you wallet on how to switch to Testnet.
Faucet: the BNB faucet is a convenient way to get test BNB to use on the Vsale on testnet, and other BSC testnet services. Because test BNB has no real world value, it is not easy to purchase directly so most people rely on the faucet. The faucet is available every 24 hours and while the amount of test BNB provided varies, it is currently distributing 0.5 BNB.
To get ETH on Sepolia this website can be used:
Do note: an Alchemy account is required to request funds on Sepolia. Creating the account is totally free of charge and so is requesting the ETH. Please use the designated channels of Sepolia if in need of assistance with this process.
Now that you're connected to Testnet, you can begin using the features on the Vetter Platform to gain an understanding all while using free test BNB!
